Geissorhiza is a genus of about 80 species of flowering plants in the iris family which originate from South Africa. The genus name is derived from the Greek words geisson, meaning "tile", and rhizon, meaning "root".

With a spray of long tubed elegant pale pink to yellow flowers in early summer Confusa is best planted in autumn. Grows up to 30cm.
